The West Rim offers unique exploring options, and this exciting Grand Canyon helicopter tour takes full advantage of these opportunities. The West Rim is the only area of the Grand Canyon that allows helicopter landings on the very bottom, a tour that Papillon has since made famous. Surrounded by unparalleled beauty, you will descend into the canyon onto a private plateau next to the Colorado River.
The scenery from your landing spot is stunning; don't forget to bring your camera to capture the perfect backdrop of your exciting Grand Canyon adventure. After exploring the canyon floor, you will return to the surface by helicopter. If you have purchased park entry, you will continue the journey at the rim with a hop-on-hop-off shuttle. Lookout points include Eagle Point, home to the Grand Canyon Skywalk - a 70-foot horseshoe-shaped glass-bottom bridge extending from the canyon. Eagle Point is named after the gigantic eagle-shaped rock formation that can be seen at this location. You can also visit Guano Point, a natural rock peninsula with 360-degree views of the canyon.
